Our NEW Craftsy Class “Fitting Fashion KNITS!”

by

In my late 20’s, I now have a whole new meaning for “Sunday Funday”. If you are anything like me, you’ve saved up some cash and are looking for that little deal that gives you a ‘victory dance’ feeling when you find it. Everyone loves to score a sale, am I right?!

So in the spirit of #blackfriday and the announcement of my newest Craftsy.com class, I want to offer a 50% discount to all of our loyal Palmer/Pletsch Blog subscribers. We just launched the blog officially 6 months ago and we are thrilled by the support.

This new class is all about expanding your tissue fitting knowledge with techniques specific to working with knit fabrics. We cover many of the fashion knits available on the market today, and illustrate the considerations you will need to think about when choosing your fiber and knit style; e.g. ponte, interlock, ITY, jersey, sweater Knits, ribbing, and scuba. Using three different McCalls designs by Palmer/Pletsch we are able to show you how each fashion uses different fitting techniques.

I’m also getting a lot of questions on where to find good knits in wools, rayons and synthetic blends. Someone said that JoAnn’s only has Polyester Ponte’s. Thanks to the internet we don’t have to survive on only what is available in our city. Below are a list of some of my favorite fashion fabric stores where I usually find some REALLY unique knits!
